VCE questions
Who sets the VCE exams?
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) publishes the study design for each VCE study and sets the end-of-year external examinations. ATARMAxxing is independent and not affiliated with the VCAA; our materials are original resources written to those public study designs.
What does “Units 3 & 4” mean?
Units 3 and 4 are the two semester-length units that make up the Year 12 level of a VCE study. They are assessed as a pair: school-assessed coursework (and, in some studies, a school-assessed task) together with the VCAA external examination.
Where do I find past VCE exam papers?
The VCAA publishes past examination papers and examination reports for its studies on its own website. Each subject hub here links to that official material alongside our own full-length model exams and mark-by-mark answer guides.
