ATARMAxxing ("we", "us") makes VCE and HSC study resources. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We've kept it short and plain because most of the people who use our site are in Year 12.
ATARMAxxing is operated by ATM Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 95 699 131 470), based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. For any question or request about your personal information — including to access, correct, or delete it, or to make a privacy complaint — email admin@atarmaxxing.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
We do not collect your date of birth, home address, phone number, school, or any sensitive information for marketing. We never buy email lists, and we never sell your data.
Many of our users are under 18. We treat that seriously: we collect the minimum we need, we don't behaviourally target or profile minors, every marketing email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe we honour immediately, and our content is made to reduce exam stress, not exploit it. We design to the Australian Privacy Principles and the OAIC's Children's Online Privacy Code. If you're a parent and want a child's data removed, email us and we'll do it.
There are two ways we end up with your permission to send marketing email, and we record which one applied to you.
If you created an account, you agreed to receive marketing email when you signed up — it is stated on the sign-up screen directly above the button, and in our Terms & Conditions. That consent applies from the moment the account is created; we do not send a separate confirmation email first. We keep a dated record of the consent wording you were shown. If the address was not really yours, one click on the unsubscribe link in any email stops it for good.
If you only asked for a free resource and never made an account, it depends which form you used. On the free-notes form the marketing tick-box is optional: your notes are emailed either way, and if you leave it unticked we send nothing else. Ticking it starts the study emails straight away. On our other free-resource forms the tick-box is required, and we email you a confirmation link first — nothing else, not even the resource, sends until you click it.
Either way, every marketing email identifies us and carries a one-click unsubscribe that we honour immediately, and unsubscribing never affects anything you have paid for. If you buy a subject you'll still get essential account emails (like a receipt) regardless.
We use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites. Optional Google Analytics only loads if you choose "Accept analytics" in the banner — and never before. You can change your choice any time.
We also keep first-party page counts in Supabase using a one-way visitor hash that changes daily. When you are signed in and have accepted optional analytics, page visits and recorded click events can be linked to your account for the owner to understand use of the service. We do not record form contents or passwords in this usage history. Choose "Only essential" in Manage cookies to stop future account-linked usage analytics. This does not remove records already collected; you can contact us to request their deletion. We do not use this history to target marketing at minors.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email admin@atarmaxxing.com.au and we'll action it. You can also unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
Access is protected and your saved work is only ever readable by you. We keep data only as long as we need it; leads who never confirm are removed periodically.
If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
