Lock in, together

Focus that counts.
Streaks that stick.

The focus timer budgets your breaks and lock-in mode counts every time you leave the tab. Every focused minute earns points, points build your streak, and your streak puts you on the weekly leaderboards.

  • Lock-in mode. Counts every tab you wander to; breaks are budgeted, not endless.
  • Streaks and points. Focus sessions, tasks, journals and reflections all feed them.
  • Four leaderboards. Friends, your school, your state and everyone — reset weekly.

VCE, HSC & QCE study — your questions

What is ATARMAxxing?

ATARMAxxing is an independent paid study platform for VCE (Victoria) and HSC (NSW) students. Each subject hub gives you 20 full-length model exams with mark-by-mark answer guides, around 120 pages of revision notes, 64 practice questions with worked solutions, 60 flashcards, and links to every official VCAA and NESA past paper. You can preview everything free before you buy.

How much does ATARMAxxing cost?

ATARMAxxing is a one-time payment, not a subscription: A$20 for one subject, A$50 for three subjects, or A$60 for five subjects, all in Australian dollars. You pay once and keep those subjects for good — there is no renewal and nothing to cancel. That works out to A$12 a subject on the five-subject plan, less than a single hour of private tutoring for materials you keep permanently. Every subject can be previewed free first.

Is ATARMAxxing affiliated with the VCAA or NESA?

No. ATARMAxxing is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the VCAA, NESA, QCAA, VTAC, UAC or QTAC. Our exams, notes and flashcards are original and written in VCAA-style and NESA-style to the public study designs and syllabuses. They are not official past exam questions. The only official material is the VCAA and NESA past papers we link to, which come straight from those bodies.

Does ATARMAxxing cover VCE, HSC and QCE?

Yes. ATARMAxxing covers VCE Units 3 and 4 subjects for Victorian students, HSC Year 12 subjects for NSW students, and QCE Units 3 and 4 (QCAA General) subjects for Queensland students under one login. The home catalogue has a VIC, NSW and QLD toggle, and your subjects can be picked from any of the three states. Each subject hub ships the identical set of model exams, notes, practice questions and flashcards, with past papers sourced from VCAA, NESA or QCAA respectively. QCE practice exams follow each subject's real External Assessment format.

How do I use ATARMAxxing to get a good ATAR?

Pick the subjects that count toward your ATAR, sit the full-length model exams in-page under timed conditions, then reveal the mark-by-mark guide and mark yourself honestly. Log what you missed, re-drill it with the notes and flashcards, and repeat closer to exams. This practice-and-review loop, backed by research on retrieval practice, is the most reliable way to lift marks. We make no guarantee of a specific ATAR or band.

VCE, HSC and QCE study built around how to get a good ATAR

ATARMAxxing is a paid VCE and HSC study platform that gives you the practice materials most ATAR guides only tell you to find. The honest answer to how to get a good ATAR is simple to say and hard to do: sit full-length exams under timed conditions, mark your own work against a proper guide, then re-drill what you got wrong. That is exactly what every subject hub here is built for, with mark-by-mark answer guides that show how each mark is earned.

  • 20 full-length model exams per subject, each with a mark-by-mark answer guide
  • Around 120 pages of revision notes plus 64 practice questions with worked solutions
  • 60 flashcards per subject for active recall and spaced practice
  • Links to every official VCAA, NESA and QCAA past paper, in one place
  • From A$20 once for one subject — lifetime access, no subscription, preview everything free

The ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) is a percentile rank from 0.00 to 99.95, not a score out of 100, so an ATAR of 80 means you ranked roughly ahead of 80 percent of your cohort. In VCE, study scores are scaled by VTAC and aggregated with English compulsory; in NSW, NESA marks are scaled by UAC across your best 10 units. Effective VCE and HSC study works the same way in both states: practise the real exam format and learn from your mistakes. Read our guides on how to get a good ATAR and the best way to study for exams, then check your subjects on the pricing page.

ATARMAxxing is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the VCAA, NESA, QCAA, VTAC, UAC or QTAC. Our content is VCAA-style, NESA-style and QCAA-style, written to the public study designs and syllabuses, and the linked past papers come straight from the official bodies. We do not promise a specific ATAR or band; we give you the volume of structured practice that genuinely moves marks.
