All URLs are on the official host qcaa.qld.edu.au and were confirmed via Google-indexed search-result titles/snippets that directly quote or name each PDF (e.g., search snippets quoted verbatim instructional text and actual question stems from inside the 2025 and 2021 papers, confirming the files are real and publicly indexed, not paywalled). However, WebFetch was blocked with HTTP 403 on every direct attempt against qcaa.qld.edu.au (subject page, syllabus PDF, and exam PDFs all 403'd — site appears to have bot/Cloudflare protection), so no paper was actually opened and read in full. Per instructions, questions[] is therefore left empty rather than guessed from snippets alone — a snippet-only view is not a reliable basis for accurate per-question descriptions. QCAA External Assessment (EA) for Biology exists only from 2020 (the first live QCE cohort under the current system) through 2025 (6 years total, i.e. all available EA years, fewer than 10 because the system itself is only 6 years old) — this fulfils 'most recent ~10 years where available.' A NEW syllabus edition ('Biology 2025', v1.3 dated January 2026) applies from the 2026 cohort onward; no EA papers exist yet under it. Topics/subtopics reflect Unit 3 and Unit 4 content only, since EA covers only Units 3-4 (confirmed by the 2021 marking-guide snippet noting objectives 5-7, covering practical/inquiry skills assessed internally, were 'not assessed' in the exam) — this content is stable across both the 2019 and 2025 syllabus editions per cross-checked search snippets of both PDFs. Exam structure (from marking-guide/paper snippets, cross-year consistent 2021-2024): Paper 1 = Section 1 20 MC (20 marks) + Section 2 8 short-response (22 marks) = 42 marks; Paper 2 = 11 short-response questions, 50 marks; total 92 marks, EA = 50% of summative assessment. Some years' individual paper URLs (2025 Paper 2, 2021 Paper 2) could not be independently confirmed via search snippet and were deliberately omitted rather than pattern-guessed, per the 'do not fabricate' instruction — Andrew or a follow-up session with browser-based access (e.g. nimble/brightdata scrape skill, or a logged-in session) could recover these and any pre-2020 Senior External Examination legacy-syllabus Biology papers if needed, plus confirm 2026 EA papers once that cohort sits its first exam.
