Common questions
When do 2026 QCE results come out?
2026 QCE results are released by QCAA on Wednesday 16 December 2026 from 9:00 am; QTAC releases the ATAR on Friday 18 December 2026 from 9:00 am.
How do I check my QCE results?
Results come through the QCAA Student Portal (final subject results and your Senior Education Profile). Your ATAR is issued by QTAC, not QCAA. Check the official page linked here for the exact process.
Who calculates the QCE ATAR?
QTAC issues the ATAR for Queensland. It is a rank, not a mark: it compares your scaled results with your age cohort, so the same raw score can lead to different ATARs in different subjects and years.
What should I do on QCE results day?
Read your results and ATAR, compare the ATAR with the published selection ranks for your preferences, and change your preferences with QTAC before the next offer-round deadline if you need to. Adjustment factors (equity, subject and regional bonuses) can lift your selection rank above your ATAR for some courses.
