- Section A - Imaginative/creative composition informed by the Common Module 'Literary Worlds'; respond to a directive to reimagine the familiar world under one altered rule of reality, with a reflection [U3 CM + U4 SK] - ~25 marks
- Section B - Critical essay on the elective 'Reimagined Worlds'; sustained analysis of how composers construct alternative realities that return responders to their own world, using one prescribed text (Calvino, If on a Winter's Night a Traveller) and one related text [U4 E3 + U4 SK] - ~25 marks
- Whole-course craft: the construction of a literary world through metafiction, structure and voice; the interplay of context, values and technique; integrated evidence and sustained conceptual argument under timed conditions - 50 marks
