- Section A — imaginative/creative composition: Literary Worlds common module, directive to reimagine a familiar story, figure or world from a deliberately displaced perspective, with reflection [U3 AOS1 / U4 SK] — ~25 marks
- Section B — critical essay on Elective: Reimagined Worlds; appropriation, intertextuality and the transformation of a source for new purposes, using a prescribed text (Le Guin, The Left Hand of Darkness) + one related text [U4 E3] — ~25 marks
- Whole-course craft: the dialogue between source and reimagining, voice and figurative language, integrated quotation and metalanguage, sustained conceptual argument under timed conditions — 50 marks
