- Section A - Imaginative/creative composition informed by the Common Module 'Literary Worlds'; respond to a stimulus on retelling and the silenced voice by reimagining a familiar literary world from a marginal perspective [U3 CM + U4 SK] — ~25 marks
- Section B - Critical essay on the elective 'Reimagined Worlds'; sustained analysis of how appropriation and recontextualisation reframe meaning across time, using one prescribed text and one related text [U4 E3 + U4 SK] — ~25 marks
- Whole-course craft: intertextuality, adaptation and the dialogue between source and reimagining; controlled voice, integrated quotation, accurate metalanguage and a precise, question-directed argument — embedded across both items
