Common questions
When do 2026 TCE results come out?
2026 TCE results are released by TASC on Wednesday 16 December 2026, with a Tertiary Entrance Score and ATAR statement for eligible students.
How do I check my TCE results?
Results come through the email address you gave in your TASC Declaration, with printed results posted. They come with a Tertiary Entrance Score and ATAR statement for eligible students. Check the official page linked here for the exact process.
Who calculates the TCE ATAR?
TASC issues the ATAR for Tasmania. It is a rank, not a mark: it compares your scaled results with your age cohort, so the same raw score can lead to different ATARs in different subjects and years.
What should I do on TCE results day?
Read your results and ATAR, compare the ATAR with the published selection ranks for your preferences, and change your preferences with the University of Tasmania (Tasmania's admissions centre) before the next offer-round deadline if you need to. Adjustment factors (equity, subject and regional bonuses) can lift your selection rank above your ATAR for some courses.
