- Section A - short/medium answer across all four Areas of Study (Mills' sociological imagination, terra nullius, protection-era policy, othering, cultural hybridity, Tonnies, neo-tribes, forms of power, Chenoweth); two stimulus sources - ~40 marks
- Section B - four 10-mark extended responses: reconciliation (U3 AOS1), media & belonging (U3 AOS2), ICT & sense of community (U4 AOS1), social-movement stages & power (U4 AOS2) - 40 marks
- Whole-course skills: defining and applying sociological concepts/theories/methods, using and evaluating evidence and sources, and synthesising evidence to reach conclusions - embedded throughout
