- Section A - short/medium answer across all four Areas of Study (culture & the sociological imagination, suppression & reconciliation, othering & cultural hybridity, comparative diversity, Tönnies/Maffesoli community theory, social-movement types/stages/power) — ~40 marks
- Section B - four 10-mark extended responses: U3 AOS1 Indigenous suppression & reconciliation (Wave Hill / Gurindji), U3 AOS2 a specific ethnic group (Vietnamese-Australian community), U4 AOS1 community theory & a selected community (FIFO mining workforce), U4 AOS2 a specific social movement (School Strike 4 Climate) — 40 marks
- Whole-paper skills: defining and applying sociological concepts/theories/methods, evaluating evidence and sources, and synthesising evidence into conclusions — embedded across both sections
