All URLs copied verbatim from pages fetched at nsw.gov.au (the live NESA host — the legacy educationstandards.nsw.edu.au domain now 301-redirects to nsw.gov.au) and curriculum.nsw.edu.au (official NESA curriculum site). Coverage: 2016–2025 (10 years), which fully satisfies "most recent ~10 years"; a further archive year (2015) exists at the same URL pattern (.../geography-archive/2015) if an 11th year is ever wanted. IMPORTANT SD DISCONTINUITY: HSC Geography changed syllabus in 2025 — the Geography Stage 6 Syllabus (2009) governed exams 2015–2024 (topics: Ecosystems at Risk / Urban Places / People and Economic Activity, each 33% weighting), while the new Geography 11–12 Syllabus (2022) is first examined in 2025 (topics: Global sustainability / Rural and urban places / Ecosystems and global biodiversity, plus cross-cutting Geographical tools and Geographical inquiry skills). The topics[] array reflects the CURRENT (2022) syllabus as the primary browse structure per the task brief, with the three superseded 2009-syllabus topics appended and clearly labelled "[Superseded]" so 2015–2024 questions can still be mapped without conflating eras. No exam year in this window was cancelled; 2020 and 2021 NSW HSC written exams proceeded (2021 was delayed to Nov–Dec due to COVID-19 lockdowns, but not cancelled) — this differs from some other subjects/states and is confirmed directly from the official archive pages, not assumed. questions[]: built ONLY from full PDF text I actually opened and read (2025 exam + 2025 official marking guidelines/mapping grid, which independently confirmed exact topic/subtopic labels; 2024 exam paper). All desc fields are my own original one-line paraphrases — no exam question wording, stimulus text, or examiner sample-answer wording was copied. Earlier archive years (2016–2023) were verified for paper/marking-guidelines URLs and syllabus era only, not opened for question-level detail — questions[] for those years is intentionally empty rather than guessed, consistent with the "do NOT guess" instruction. One incidental find: this scratchpad directory contained unrelated leftover files (geography-sd.txt/docx/xml, geography-specs.txt) from a prior, different task researching VCAA (Victorian) VCE Geography — confirmed by content (VCAA branding, Vic study design) and excluded entirely from this NSW/NESA output.
