- Section A - short/medium answer across all four AOS, with written + visual stimulus (U3 AOS1 terra nullius/Mabo & sociological imagination; U3 AOS2 othering & cultural hybridity; U4 AOS1 Tonnies/neo-tribes & ICT; U4 AOS2 power types & movement stages) — ~40 marks
- Section B - four 10-mark extended responses, one per AOS: reconciliation (U3 AOS1), multiculturalism & belonging (U3 AOS2), a sense of community (U4 AOS1), Chenoweth & social change (U4 AOS2) — 40 marks
- Whole-course craft: defining and applying sociological concepts, using/evaluating evidence and sources, and ethical methodology — embedded across both sections
