Answer: Worked solution
Model answer (religion in general). Rituals and sacred stories are closely interrelated. Many rituals re-enact a sacred story, so the story gives the ritual its meaning and the ritual makes the story present for adherents now. For example, a festival meal may retell a founding narrative of liberation or sacrifice; without the story the actions would be empty, and without the ritual the story might remain distant and abstract.
This interrelationship also involves symbols and sacred times: the ritual takes place at a sacred time and uses symbols (light, bread, water) that condense the story's meaning. Each aspect therefore reinforces the others, giving adherents a coherent experience in which belief, story and action support meaning together.
Marking note: 2 marks per aspect relationship explained clearly; no tradition is needed because the question is general. Answers that only define two aspects separately do not show interrelationship.
