All data sourced directly from vcaa.vic.edu.au (fetched and verified via HTTP 200 checks on every URL in years[]). Key verified facts: (1) A NEW VCE Accounting Study Design took effect 1 January 2025 (accreditation period confirmed in the study design docx itself and in the exam specifications docx, both dated/versioned March 2025). (2) VCAA's own past-papers page groups 2019–2025 together under "Examinations relating to the current study design" and its March-2025 exam specifications explicitly state "Past examinations (from 2019 onwards) provide an indication of the format of the examination" — so despite the syllabus content update, exam FORMAT (8 compulsory questions/100 marks/2hr writing+15min reading, short-answer + extended-response, no ICT, one scientific calculator) is continuous across 2019–2025, confirmed by directly reading both the 2025 and 2023 papers in full. (3) The study-design boundary VCAA itself draws on the page is 2018-and-earlier = "previous study designs, not necessarily a guide to the current examination" — I've reflected that distinction in sdEras (2019–2024 vs 2025–2029) while noting the format-continuity caveat per year. (4) The exam only covers Unit 3 & 4 content (worth 50% of study score); Units 1–2 have no external exam, so topics[] is built from the Unit 3/4 Areas of Study only, using exact syllabus wording extracted from the official 2025AccountingSD.docx (word/document.xml). (5) questions[] contains 28 entries (all 8 Q's x all sub-parts for both 2025 and 2023) built from my own reading of the actual PDFs — every desc is an original one-line paraphrase, no VCAA question text, figures-as-scenario, or examiner wording was copied. (6) 2020/2021 reports are hosted as .pdf (not .docx as an earlier automated summary suggested) — corrected after inspecting the raw HTML href attributes directly. (7) Coverage gap: I did not open 2024, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019 or 2018 papers, so questions[] has zero entries for those years (per instructions, no guessing) — only the year/paper/report metadata is populated for them, all URL-verified. (8) No exam-cancellation anomalies found for Accounting in this window (unlike some other 2020 VCE subjects) — 2020 and 2021 exams both proceeded as scheduled, only their reports were later amended (1 June 2021), which I noted. (9) No NHT (Northern Hemisphere Timetable) past papers were found separately listed for Accounting on this page, though the study design docx does list NHT unit codes (AC041–AC044) alongside the standard ones.
