- Section A Q1 (written stimulus): weighing similarities against differences in belief between two variants
- Section A Q2 (pictorial stimulus, described in words): how a divergence in sacred calendar or festival practice is explained and its effect on relations
- Section B Q3 suffering: beliefs about death and the afterlife and the value placed on suffering in this life
- Section B Q4 ethical issue: relationships: pre-marital relationships and marriage
- Section C Q5–Q9 (all five depth-study topics): the context, purpose, reliability and bias of primary and secondary sources; Q9 angle — the Dreaming as an ongoing reality rather than a past era
