This paper covers
- Section A Q1 (written stimulus): the authority of sacred text versus tradition, leaders or reason in two variants
- Section A Q2 (pictorial stimulus, described in words): shared roots and divergent growth: similarities and differences in doctrine
- Section B Q3 suffering: the role of religious leaders and community in responding to suffering
- Section B Q4 ethical issue: responses to war, rebellion or political turmoil
- Section C Q5–Q9 (all five depth-study topics): consistency of points of view with the tradition's beliefs, values and actions; Q9 angle — interaction with Christian missions and responses to it
