This paper covers

  • Section A (Criteria 2 and 8): Candidate's own scenario, which may be the IOLP: describe and evaluate two recognised theories and their strengths and limitations.
  • Section B (5 compulsory questions, 8/8/8/8/8 marks, Criterion 3): attributes for therapeutic goals with young people; two decision-making models; equity and disadvantage; risk management strategy; reflection through activity sheets
  • Section C (5 compulsory questions, 8/8/8/8/8 marks, Criterion 5): individual, group and task needs; Tuckman stages and leadership style; conflict positives and negatives; barriers to communication; listening skills
  • Section D Part 1, compulsory (Criteria 7 and 8): Tourism growth and the Three Capes Track
  • Section D Part 2, choose one (Criteria 7 and 8): Leaders and the Signposts to Nature on a hut-based walk OR Aboriginal-owned and led walking experiences and shared sense of place
  • Practice mark model: Sections B and C each use the 2022–2024 pattern of 5 × 8 (40 marks each); Sections A (40) and D (2 × 30) are rated A+ to z on the real exam and carry practice marks only.
