  • Section B (4 compulsory questions, 10/10/10/10 marks, Criterion 3): the role of a leader (five functions); SMART group goals; DECIDE model; AAAS for paddling
  • Section C (4 compulsory questions, 10/10/10/10 marks, Criterion 5): Maslow at lunch; Tuckman norming; conflict over canoe partners; one-way communication in an emergency
  • Section D Part 1, compulsory (Criteria 7 and 8): Forestry in the Huon and Southern Forests: history and changing values
  • Section D Part 2, choose one (Criteria 7 and 8): Engaging the senses: activities that build connection on a river OR Values held by different users of a river
  • Practice mark model: Sections B and C each use the 2025 pattern of 4 × 10 (40 marks each); Sections A (40) and D (2 × 30) are rated A+ to z on the real exam and carry practice marks only.
