METHODOLOGY: WebFetch returned HTTP 403 Forbidden on every qcaa.qld.edu.au URL attempted (both the syllabus HTML page and PDF downloads), and the Nimble CLI (nimble-web-expert skill) was not installed/authenticated in this environment, so no page or PDF could actually be opened and read. All URLs below were instead surfaced verbatim through WebSearch result listings (title + URL pairs returned directly by the search engine indexing qcaa.qld.edu.au), which is why questions[] is empty — per instructions, question-level content is only populated when a paper has actually been opened and read, and none was. Every URL listed was copied exactly as returned by search, not fabricated or pattern-guessed beyond what search actually surfaced (the one exception — the unconfirmed 2025 question book — is explicitly flagged as unconfirmed in that year's notes rather than included). COVERAGE: 6 years found (2020–2025), which is the full population of QCE Literature Unit 3/4 external assessments — QCAA-administered EAs for this subject only exist from 2020 (QCE's first cohort under the current system), so there is no "10 years" of history to reach; 2020–2025 is exhaustive of what exists publicly. All 6 years sit under the single 2019 syllabus era for Units 3/4 (the 2025 syllabus only starts governing Units 3/4 exams from 2026, so no EA data exists for it yet). GAPS: (1) 2025 question book/exam paper itself not confirmed via search — only its marking guide and subject report were found; flagged in that year's notes rather than guessed. (2) Response book URLs for 2020, 2021, 2022 were not located via search (only question books + marking guides confirmed for those years) — response books likely exist following the naming pattern seen in 2023/2024 but were not independently confirmed, so omitted rather than guessed. (3) Some additional resources (extra past exam materials, exemplar folders) are noted to sit behind the QCAA Portal, which is restricted to Queensland school staff — not accessible to students/public; the publicly downloadable "_pub" suffixed marking guides and the question/response books above ARE public, confirmed by QCAA's own "Public use" labelling seen in one search snippet. TOPICS: Grounded in real, quoted syllabus wording surfaced through search snippets of the official Literature 2019/2025 syllabus PDFs and QCAA's own subject page — not fabricated. The 4 unit titles (Introduction to literary studies / Intertextuality / Literature and identity / Independent explorations) and the external exam's "extended response, 45 marks, 25% weighting, 800–1000 word analytical essay" structure were both confirmed via search snippets quoting official QCAA marking guide and syllabus titles. RECOMMENDATION: Before publishing this index, a follow-up pass should attempt direct PDF fetches (e.g. via a browser-based tool, curl with a spoofed user-agent, or Nimble once installed/authenticated) to actually open at least 2-3 recent question books and confirm exam structure/read real questions for the questions[] array, and to verify the 2025 question book URL and the missing response-book URLs rather than leaving them as gaps.
