Official papers & examiner reports, year by year
METHODOLOGY / LIMITATION: qcaa.qld.edu.au is protected by a Cloudflare bot challenge (confirmed via HTTP response header `cf-mitigated: challenge` on a direct curl HEAD request) that returned HTTP 403 on every WebFetch and curl attempt against both HTML pages and PDFs on that domain, including the syllabus PDF and every exam paper PDF. No nimble or brightdata CLI/MCP was available in this environment to bypass this. As a result: (1) all years[]/papers[] URLs below are drawn from consistent, repeated Google-indexed WebSearch results on the qcaa.qld.edu.au domain — filenames follow a strict, self-describing naming convention (snr_maths_general_YY_ea_pN_question_response.pdf, _mark_guide_pub.pdf, _subj_rpt.pdf) that was cross-confirmed across multiple independent searches per year, so confidence in URL correctness is high, but I could not open these files myself to confirm content or that the link resolves (link rot/typos cannot be fully ruled out); (2) topics[] Unit 1–4 structure and subtopic wording IS independently verified — I directly read (via Read tool on downloaded PDFs) two genuine copies of official QCAA subject-guide content hosted on Queensland state-school (.eq.edu.au) domains: an August 2018 \"Senior subject guide v1.3\" (the original syllabus launch document) and an April 2025 course overview, both showing the same 4-unit structure with only minor subtopic-wording refinements between them, confirming a single continuous syllabus era since 2019; (3) questions[] is deliberately empty because I never successfully opened and read an actual exam question paper (Cloudflare blocked every attempt) — populating it from WebSearch snippet fragments (which did surface some real topic hints, e.g. for 2021 P2 and 2025 marking guide) would violate the \"only if you actually opened and read the paper\" instruction, so those hints were discarded rather than used; (4) confirmed genuine gap: full Paper 1/Paper 2 question-and-response books for 2025 are not yet publicly indexed (only the MC question book, marking guide, and subject report are), noted in the 2025 entry; (5) SEE (Senior External Examination) papers, a separate adult/external-candidate exam pathway with its own \"see_maths_general_*\" filenames, were excluded throughout as out of scope — only the standard in-school QCE \"snr_maths_general_*\" EA series is indexed above; (6) confidence is set to \"medium\" overall: high confidence in the syllabus/topic structure (independently read from source documents) and in URL naming-pattern correctness, but reduced because no exam paper content was directly verified end-to-end and a small number of years/papers rely on filename inference rather than a directly observed listing page.
