This paper covers
- Core study: continuity and change in education and labour as mediated by artificial intelligence and automation — syllabus threads of social change, power, values and socialisation
- Depth studies: Person and Society (identity, agency and AI-mediated self-presentation) and Social Conformity and Nonconformity (algorithmic surveillance, norm enforcement and labour discipline)
- Band 6 discrimination: extended responses must deploy sociological concepts (primary/secondary socialisation, social stratification, cultural reproduction, anomie, labelling theory) alongside specific AI-era examples, methodological awareness, and nuanced evaluation of continuity alongside change
