Official sources and how this analysis works

Official question identities, mark allocations and published results come from VCAA. Labels, topic coding and syllabus mappings are ATARMAxxing analysis. Historical shares describe indexed printed marks, not future-question probabilities or a candidate’s assessed weighting. Wrong-option rates exclude omissions; zero-mark and full-mark proportions are separate measures. Published rounding is retained: means and outcome percentages are separate reported statistics, and no mean is reconstructed from rounded distribution percentages. Source links open the parent question or text; use the official paper for exact wording, figures and later parts. The current examination has 15 short-answer marks, a 30-mark analytical commentary and one 30-mark essay selected from three. The index contains 135 printed marks per year; a candidate answers 75. Writing time is 120 minutes plus 15 minutes reading. Only 2 completed current-design main examination year(s) are available in this corpus; this is not a three-year trend.

Classification: VCE Units 3 and 4 study design from 2024; 2024–2025 main examinations. Each question is counted at the separately marked subpart level. The source questions and stimuli remain in the authority's original documents.
