This paper covers
- Section A (Criteria 2 and 8): Multi-day packrafting in the south-west: low cloud, a navigation error and a group losing trust; apply two contrasting theories.
- Section B (5 compulsory questions, 8/8/8/8/8 marks, Criterion 3): attributes and trust; experience-based judgement; equity in leadership roles; risk management; reflection
- Section C (4 compulsory questions, 10/10/12/8 marks, Criterion 5): Maslow and safety; Tuckman storming; conflict techniques compared; external and internal noise
- Section D Part 1, compulsory (Criteria 7 and 8): Remote-area access, helicopters and fly-in tourism proposals
- Section D Part 2, choose one (Criteria 7 and 8): Solitude, wilderness and the Signposts to Nature OR Aboriginal Country in the south-west and truth-telling
- Marks model: Sections B and C use TASC-style 40-mark allocations; Sections A (40) and D (60, 30 per part) are a practice allocation because the real exam rates them A+ to z.
