This paper covers

  • Quotient-rule critical points with rejected roots
  • Areas clipped by an additional vertical boundary
  • Risk-payoff moments and inference under a biased sampling frame

Answer all questions in both sections. Section A is calculator-free and collected after 80 minutes. Section B permits approved calculators after that point; it may be started earlier without a calculator. Each section assesses criteria 4–8.
