This paper covers

- Criterion 6: energy profiles and catalyst effects, requiring a justified chemical explanation and at least one quantitative or data-based step.
- Criterion 7: functional groups, nomenclature and reaction pathways, combining precise chemical representation with evidence from the supplied context.
- Criterion 8: electrochemistry and multistep mole calculations, showing a complete calculation path, units and significant figures.
Students are permitted to bring into the examination the materials normally allowed for this subject. Answer all questions in the spaces provided.
