This paper covers
- Designing & Producing (Core 1): design factors, project proposal & WHS management, research/experimentation, production scale and evaluation applied to a modular 3D-printed recycled-plastic public bus-shelter seating system ('CivicBench') for a council streetscape — ~22 marks
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies (Core 2): case-study reasoning on the electric cargo e-bike as an urban innovation, its impact on the Australian lifestyle and environment, and the ethics of GPS/usage tracking — ~18 marks
- Whole-course skills: divergent thinking and collaboration, life cycle analysis of recycled vs virgin material, intellectual property of AI-generated design, and analysing the impact of generative AI on designers and society — embedded across both sections
