- Abuse of human rights as a contemporary crisis (Unit 3 AoS2): the Rohingya crisis - causes, competing actor perspectives (Myanmar junta, Bangladesh, UNHCR/UN, ASEAN), consequences of 2025-2026 humanitarian funding cuts, and effectiveness of diplomatic/multilateral responses
- Indonesia as an Indo-Pacific state (Unit 4 AoS1): Prabowo Subianto's national interests (economic prosperity via Danantara and BRICS, regional standing, sovereignty), use of hard/soft/sharp/smart power, internal and external challenges (South China Sea joint statement controversy, ASEAN leadership drift), and effectiveness in achieving national interests
- Australia in the Indo-Pacific (Unit 4 AoS2, Section B): an original embedded stimulus on the Australia-Indonesia Jakarta Treaty (signed 6 February 2026) and IA-CEPA trade data, testing source analysis of Australia's pursuit of regional relationships and use of power
- Integrated Section C extended responses: C1 evaluates how competing state interests have challenged responses to development and to the Rohingya crisis (Unit 3 integration); C2 evaluates the comparative effectiveness of Indonesia and Australia in pursuing their national interests through regional relationships and power (Unit 4 integration)
