- Domestic macro goals (growth, inflation, full employment), aggregate demand/supply, the international economy (BOP, exchange rates, terms of trade, trade liberalisation)
- Aggregate demand policies (budgetary & monetary) and aggregate supply policies — with contemporary 'skills shortage & training' flavour
