- Section B (4 compulsory questions, 10/10/10/10 marks, Criterion 3): hard and soft skills defined and contrasted; equity issues for a participant with a disability; creative decision making; the purpose of risk analysis and management plans
- Section C (4 compulsory questions, 10/10/12/8 marks, Criterion 5): Maslow's physiological and safety needs in snow; Tuckman storming to norming; collaboration as a conflict technique; visual and tactile communication in wind
- Section D Part 1, compulsory (Criteria 7 and 8): Climate change and the 2016 and 2019 bushfires in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area
- Section D Part 2, choose one (Criteria 7 and 8): Helping beginners progress through the Signposts to Nature on an alpine trip OR Aboriginal fire knowledge and connection to Country
