- Section B Q2 (Criteria 3, 4, 6): relative influence of two core elements — core elements and key features table printed
- Section C Q3 (Criteria 3, 4, 7): death, succession and legacy — full prescribed list of individuals printed
- Every question requires both primary and secondary evidence
- Model answers written on Greece (Delphi; the Kerameikos and Athenian funerary practice) and on Themistocles; any listed topic or individual may be used
