- Design elements and principles applied to ergonomic furniture: form, function, proportion, balance, human factors
- Evaluation against design criteria: sustainability criteria, inclusivity criteria, feasibility and cost implications in Queensland state school context
- Schematic and ideation sketching conventions: orthographic views, dimensions, annotations, line weights, section views
- Circular economy frameworks and material lifecycle applied to school furniture redesign
- Cultural and ethical considerations: equity of access for students with disability in Queensland education system
- Design communication: representing a refined ergonomic redesign concept with accurate drawing conventions and purposeful annotation
