StudyPulse and ATARMAxxing charge almost the same headline number, which makes this the most direct comparison on the site. As at August 2026 StudyPulse is A$20 per month, or A$160 for a year, covering all subjects. ATARMAxxing is A$20 once for one subject, A$50 for three, A$60 for five, and it never renews.
So the first question is how long you plan to study. One month on StudyPulse costs the same as one ATARMAxxing subject kept for life. A full year costs A$160, against A$60 for five subjects here. If you are taking many subjects and only need help for a term, their all-subjects model can work out well; if you are here for two years, the sums move.
The second question is what each is for. StudyPulse's distinguishing feature is AI marking of your answers to past-paper questions, which gives you feedback in seconds — we do not do that. Ours is 20 full-length model exams a subject with a human-written, mark-by-mark answer guide. Fast automated feedback and detailed written marking criteria are both useful; they are not the same thing.

Is StudyPulse cheaper than ATARMAxxing?
For a single month, they are the same A$20 — except that on StudyPulse it buys a month across all subjects, and on ATARMAxxing it buys one subject permanently. Over a year StudyPulse is A$160 and five ATARMAxxing subjects are A$60 paid once. Which is better value depends on how many subjects you need and how long you need them.
Does ATARMAxxing have AI marking?
No. StudyPulse's AI marking of past-paper answers is a real advantage and we do not offer it. What we provide instead is a mark-by-mark answer guide for each of the 20 model exams in a subject, written out so you can see how the marks are allocated and mark yourself against the same criteria an examiner would use.
What happens if I stop paying?
On a subscription, access ends when the subscription does. ATARMAxxing has no subscription — you pay once and the subjects you bought stay in your account, including after your exams.
