ATARMAXXING Discussion Boards Are Live: Free Year 12 Study Help for Every Subject
Our discussion boards are live. You can now ask questions in your subject and swap your own notes with other students. Free to read. Free account to post.
Find your subject's discussion board here.
What is on the boards?
There is an overall ATAR discussion board, curriculum-specific boards and subject-specific boards. We have opened 165 boards across VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE and TCE, including separate subject boards. You can also share notes you have written yourself through the resource swaps section.
The idea is simple: students come together to help each other with difficult questions or topics, or to get general advice and guidance about Year 12 and the upcoming exams.
How should you use them?
If you have spent half an hour staring at a practice question and still do not understand the answer, put your working up and explain where you got stuck. Give someone studying the same subject something they can actually help with.
If you understand something another student is struggling with, reply. Explaining your reasoning is a decent way to find out whether you understand it yourself.
The boards have only just launched, so there may not be many posts yet. People are notified when you post, so a question will not sit unseen. Get in early and start a thread.
Why does this matter?
Your ATAR is a rank. Spending another evening repeating a mistake you have not spotted is not helping you. The point of the boards is to make it easier to work out what you are missing before the exam.

We have also made AI marking free for every account until 1 November. If you want extra practice, our subject packs start at A$20 once, with original practice exams and mark-by-mark answer guides. No subscription. You do not need to buy a pack to use the discussion boards.
